So anyone who started playing this game through WGC are stuck with WGC. Unfortunately, you can't go the other way, and start from WGC then move your account to Steam. though that'll require you to install both versions on your computer, which is a bit of a waste. As long as you keep the WG account linked to your Steam account, you can use both log in options. They're essentially same game with two separate log in options, but only if you started from the Steam version. That's exactly how I am here and posting on this forum.īoth the WGC version of the game and the Steam version of the game log into the same server. Doing so will allow you to (1) post on this forum, (2) buy from the website Premium Shop, and (3) use WGC as an alternative login source. You can go to the official WoWs website, and register that pseudo account to turn it into a proper WG account. When you first play WoWs through Steam, you create a pseudo-account that comes linked to your Steam account. Player’s data is stored differently on all four versions of the game and all in game content vary from platform to platform making it impossible to transfer the owned content in its current owned state. Those in steam can't move their progress to WGC. World of Warships: Blitz is also a separate title from the PC version of World of Warships, all progress, content and purchases on this platform is not shared and non-transferable. Only content that is purchased through these companies can be credited to those accounts, on that specific platform. Accounts for World of Warships on PC and World of Warships: Blitz (mobile) will not/cannot be unified for any players or any reasons.Īll purchases for your WoWS: Blitz must be made through the Google Play Games/App Store interface, which goes through the Google/Apple owned Play Store/App Store, respectively. As World of Warships: Blitz (mobile) and World of Warships PC are very similar, they are separate versions on separate systems, accounts and progress cannot be transferred between the two systems.
